The panel features

Chuck Korr and Marvin Close, authors of 'More than just a game: Football v Apartheid'

Steve Bloomfield author of 'Africa United'

Its a panel up to the customary high standard.

We will be joined by Chuck Korr and Marvin Close, authors of More than Just a Game : Football v Apartheid. This is the incredible story of how prisoners on the notorious Robben Island defied the authorities not only by playing football but organising their own league and cup as 'Makana FA'.

Chuck's film of the book will be shown on BBC as part of their World Cup coverage and we will be showing extracts and hearing from the two authors about the story of Makana FA.

Plus! We will also be joined by Steve Bloomfield, author of the new book Africa United : How football explains Africa. Former Africa correspondent of The Independent newspaper Steve will be providing an unrivalled insight into both what hosting the World Cup means to the continent, and the current state of South African football.

So, a great way to finish the series. Starts 7pm, food from 6pm.
